Discharge Process

The consultant in charge will decides when it is advisable for you to leave the hospital. In most cases, he will be able to discuss your discharge with you a day in advance. Make sure you have a discharge summary of your case along with patient card before you leave. This will enable you and your family doctor to follow-up your treatment at home. Test reports will be given to you at the time of discharge (applicable ONLY in cash category). If some investigations have not been reported, these reports may kindly be collected from lab/reception between 08:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m on all working days including Sundays.

It is imperative that you arrange to leave by the discharge time, so that we can prepare the bed and the room for new arrivals. The Discharge Check-Out Time is 09:00 a.m. If you are unable to leave by the morning discharge time, bed charges for the day will be added to your bill. We request you to follow a few procedures when you check out from the hospital.
